About Me

Hello, my name is Kyle Schwartz

I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems with a learning track in artificial intelligence and machine learning at Southeast Missouri State University. I have skills in several programming languages that can be viewed in the skills section below. I am a avid learner always ready for the next challenge. I have worked in several leadership positions in both my high school and college careers and I am comfortable hosting meetings through meeting applications such as Zoom and Teams. I prefer remote work. My entire professional life has been conducted mainly online. I have been an online learner from kindergarten through college so working remote is something that comes naturally to me. More About Me

When I am not at work, school, or working on some new project, I can typically be found working on my family's small farm. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, fishing, hiking, swimming, beekeeping, and repairing antique tractors. My family owns a small beekeeping business called Schwartzee Bees were we sell mostly honey. We also have two large gardens, and frequently can and freeze our own fruits and vegetables. I am someone who loves to be outdoors and I don't spend very much time inside. I even typically do my work outside on a laptop and portable monitor. So, if you ever need advice on how to repair a carburetor, save tomato seeds, or if you need to buy some honey I have experience in that too.

Description:

(7/12/2024) - I have an intermediate understanding of the standard Python code. I am currently learning its libraries with an emphasis on coding with Python when working on machine learning and AI applications.
(1/13/2025) - I have a good understanding of Python including its libraries. I now use it often for scripting simple applications that help me to get work done, as well as for scraping data from the internet and analyzing the data I collect. I also have a good understanding of several machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow.

PHP Eccommerce website, Created and maintained several databases

Description:

I learned SQL in a database course in the Fall 2024 semester. It was actually simpler than I was expecting. I used it often in this course any time I worked with a database. I then used it when building an Ecommerce website using PHP and an MySQL database. I can currently employ advanced SQL techniques to retrieve data from a database and I am constantly practicing to improve my skills.

I learned PHP as part of an extra credit assignment for a database course. It was amazing to see how both the backend and the frontend of the website works together to generate dynamic content and store information retrieved from the website. Description:

Amazon Web Services is a extremely large infastructure and much more complicated than I was expecting. It takes a long time to navigate and learn about each feature. Description:

I learned Cloud Computing in a cloud computing course in the Fall 2024 semester. Due to the large number of options and techniques in this field, I can't say I am a professional at it, but I am able to run machine learning models and deploy applications and websites onto cloud servers. I can also debug and implement projects on Amazon Web Service Instances. This is a rather vague skill title considering all that cloud computing is. My experience with data mining primarily comes from my coursework and personal projects. I have applied data mining techniques such as clustering, classification, and regression analysis to extract insights from large datasets. I was required to develope PowerPoints and give speeches to keep the group engaged. I was also responsible for managing project completions and topics of discussion each month.
